ABOUT MACE

Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) is a premier engineering institution which has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education since its inception in 1961. This renowned institution, the progenitor of technical education in the state of Kerala is committed to the dictum “Knowledge is Power”, with the foremost relevance being the creation of a better society by moulding engineers for mankind.
The college is situated at Kothamangalam, a town lying at the foothills of the evergreen Western Ghats. The college is owned and managed by the Mar Athanasius College Association and is aided by the Government of Kerala. MACE offers Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology and Doctor of Philosophy is various areas of Engineering and Master of Computer Applications, and is recognized by AICTE and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.
The college is accredited by NAAC and also all the under graduate programs of Engineering offered at MACE are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Apart from teaching, MACE is engaged in wide spectrum of activities covering research and development, industrial consultancy, continuing education and faculty development.
